Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant from a nationally accredited institution.
• One year of relative medical assistant experience if CMA program not met.
• 1–3 years of clinical MA experience is preferred.
• Electronic Medical Record experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the provider to determine patient needs and assist with care.
• Verify patient information, medical history, and reason for visit.
• Prepare patients for examination and record vitals.
• Enter data accurately into the patient’s EMR.
• Assist with minor procedures and scheduling tests or referrals.
