Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support our care team and coordinate patient care. You will assist with screenings, clinical procedures, health education, and administrative tasks, while ensuring patients feel at ease and informed throughout their visit.

You will collect vital signs, assist with procedures, administer medications, and support seamless coordination of care for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant credential required.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient care experience.
• Experience with health education and coordinating care.

Responsibilities

• Perform general patient care following standards.
• Greet and prepare patients for providers.
• Record vital signs: BP, temp, pulse, etc.
• Draw blood samples and prepare specimens for testing.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered.
• May perform routine tests such as EKGs.
