Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain Medical Assistant National Certification Attestation from a recognized body.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or to obtain within 3 months.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow to maximize efficient use of exam rooms and providers.
• Prepare medical records for visits and verify accuracy of identifiers.
• Provide high level customer service in all patient interactions.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment for patients and families.
• Assist with physical exams, procedures and specimen collection as needed.
• Perform Point of Care Testing and record results in the chart.
