Job purpose The purpose of the Certified Medical Assistant/Patient Care Associate - Urology is to provide clinical and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management and communicate with accuracy, quality and timeliness.
High School diploma or equivalent Medical office experience (1 year preferred) Certified Medical Assistant BLS Cert Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary (1 year preferred) Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills
Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
Position requires moderate physical effort, standing/walking for more than 75 percent of the day, as well as lifting objects that weight up to 10 pounds. Position may include helping to lift/arrange patients.
