Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CMA certification within 6 months, and BLS at hire; ambulance and clinical experience in healthcare is valued.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA certification within 6 months preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• MA program accreditation preferred.
• Experience with venipuncture and basic lab procedures preferred.
• Experience with third-party payors and data entry in EMR preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients and provides excellent customer service.
• Receives and directs messages to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains patient scheduling and sets appointments.
• Completes patient registration processes.
• Handles data entry for patient demographics and charges.
• Performs venipuncture and administers routine medications under supervision.
• Performs basic lab procedures and collects specimens.
• Assists in cashiering for co-payments and payments.
• Up to 25% travel as needed.
