Job summary

Palmetto Primary Care Physicians, LLC is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team and support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The CMA will room patients, obtain vital signs, document histories, and assist with examinations and minor procedures.

The ideal candidate has completed a post-secondary Medical Assisting program, holds current CMA/MA certification, and maintains CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a post-secondary medical assisting education program (certificate, diploma, or associate degree) from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid medical assistant certification (e.g., CMA/RMA/NCMA/AMT/NHA/MedCA).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital signs accurately.
• Obtain medical history, chief complaint, and reason for visit.
• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies; assist providers during examinations.
• Administer medications/injections per physician order; perform immunizations.
