UNC Health Campus Care at Carolina is seeking a Medical Assistant II, Certified to provide routine clinical and administrative support in an outpatient clinic. You will work under supervision of a provider and manager to support patient care.

Responsibilities include rooming, data collection, assisting with procedures, phlebotomy, meds administration, tests, and helping with registrations and referrals. The role requires MA certification and BLS, with at least one year of experience; onsite, 40

Qualificações

• Medical Assistant certification from a recognized body is required or in progress.
• At least one year of full-time Medical Assistant experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.

Responsabilidades

• Perform rooming and intake, collecting vitals and visit data.
• Collect medical and social history; review meds and allergies.
• Assist provider during procedures; collect specimens and phlebotomy.
• Administer medications under provider direction; run tests (EKG, etc.).
• Support patient registration, scheduling, referrals, and coordination.
