Job summary

Mercy Health's St. Elizabeth Boardman Orthopedics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support the physician team in delivering high-quality patient care.

The CMA will review and update health records, measure vital signs, prepare treatment rooms, and assist with clinical workflows while abiding by state guidelines and MA certification requirements. One year of experience preferred, strong communication and clerical skills valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year of medical assistant experience preferred; 2 years clerical in a physician's office acceptable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and medical office software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide courteous service.
• Review and update patient charts and health records.
• Measure vital signs and prepare exam rooms for visits.
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, referrals, phone duties as needed.
