ProMedica Central Physicians in Flower Hospital's Oncology Surgery department is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work directly with patients and providers, delivering clinical excellence and an enhanced patient experience. You will prepare patients for visits by taking and documenting vital signs, performing specialized tests and preparing schedules.

This position emphasizes communication, teamwork and leadership as you act as a resource for Medical Assistants and Patient Service

Competenze

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized MA program or 1 year as an MA.
• Registration or Certification as a Medical Assistant through an accredited body; or active LPN/RN license.
• BLS (CPR) required; current card or obtain within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Prepare patients for visits by taking and recording vital signs and performing specialized tests.
• Assist providers and care teams and maintain schedules.
• Communicate with patients and health care team to relay messages and coordinate care.
• Provide leadership as a resource for Medical Assistants and Patient Service Coordinator teams.
