Alliance Spine and Pain Centers in Canton, GA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our Canton ASC. The role supports both the ASC and clinic operations, prepares patients, collects vitals, and documents in the EMR.

No weekends or overnights; you'll never be On-Call. Requires graduation from an accredited CMA program, CPR certification, and at least 6 months in a medical office; strong organizational and medical terminology skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR AED certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• At least 6 months experience in a medical office.
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and correct spelling of medications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for visit in pre-operative area and obtain consent.
• Collect and record vital signs and medical history; report abnormalities.
• Assist nurse with prescriptions and EMR documentation.
• Document and maintain workflow in the EMR.
• Maintain pre-operative and clinic rooms and equipment.
• Transport patients to/from operating room and vehicles as needed.
• Make post-operative calls to patients as required.
• Manage patient scheduling, room assignment, and charting.
• Complete pre-authorization processes within 72 hours.
