Job summary

Alliance Spine and Pain Centers in Georgia is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join one of their JCAHO-certified ambulatory surgery center teams. The role acts as liaison between patients and providers, documents clinical notes in the EMR, and may include ASC and clinic duties, with opportunities to learn operating room procedures and basic radiography.

Ideal candidates have CMA certification, strong organizational skills, CPR/BLS, and at least 6 months in a medical office.

Qualifications

• Must be a CMA with certification and CPR/BLS.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a medical office.
• Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation.
• Ability to operate radiology equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between patients and providers and document notes in EMR.
• Prepare patients for visits and handle pre-operative procedures in ASC.
• Take vitals, document medical history, and assist with prescriptions.
• Document workflow in EMR and maintain rooms and supplies.
• Support both ASC and clinic duties, including prior authorizations.
