Job summary

Methodist Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant NCT to support physicians and APPs in delivering patient-centered care. The role performs routine clinical procedures, assists with examinations, and helps educate patients while accurately documenting in health records.

Under general direction, you will contribute to a collaborative clinic environment within Methodist Health System, maintaining high standards of quality and patient safety in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

High School Diploma is required.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification is preferred.
BLS Certification is preferred.
NCT permit through the Texas Medical Board is required.

Responsibilities

To provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APPs
Perform routine clinical procedures as directed by the physician
Participate in patient education and enter documentation into patients' health records

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant NCT works under the general direction of the physician.
