Job summary

Community Health Systems in Naples, FL is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support multi-specialty clinic operations. The CMA will assist with clinical procedures, room preparation, and patient intake while delivering excellent patient service.

Responsibilities include completing vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, wound care, EKGs, chart documentation, and patient education. CMA certification and BCLS are required; NCMA also considered.

Qualifications

• CMA-AAMA certification required or NCMA-NCTT required.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical procedures including vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs, and wound care.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms; manage patient intake and triage.
• Support administrative duties: pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure accurate documentation and charting.
• Educate patients on medications, diets, and health topics; promote patient understanding.
