Certified Medical Assistant/ Medical Assistant

Position Summary: The Birth Tissue Recovery Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the recovery of birth tissues in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a medical background and experience in an allied health field, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively coordinate with hospital staff and manage documentation and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with nurses and physicians in a hospital environment to coordinate tissue recovery.
• Complete and manage detailed documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and order on-site inventory of medical and recovery supplies.
• Use office equipment such as computers, scanners, and fax/copy machines daily.
• Lift and manage supply boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Travel within the area for training or temporary coverage at nearby facilities, as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an allied health field.
• License or certification in Surgical Technology, Medical Assisting, EMT, Tissue Recovery, or a related field.
• Strong communication and professional interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and complete a background check (no exceptions).
• Must obtain Green Security Clearance.
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide a valid medical exemption.
