Mercy Clinic Urology at Southfork in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time, day-shift role on weekdays. You will room patients, take vital signs, and assist physicians and APPs with procedures in a busy outpatient urology clinic.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic
• New hires must attend MA Clinic Academy training

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Assist physicians and APPs with patient care and procedures
• Prepare and maintain instruments and clinical equipment
• Prepare and stock exam rooms
• Perform point-of-care testing
• Complete medication reconciliation and administer injections as appropriate
• Assist with basic in-basket messages and medication refill requests
• Complete documentation and scanning
• Communicate patient needs and updates with physicians and APPs
• Assist with appointment scheduling and medical record requests
• Enter diagnostic and ancillary orders
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, PPE, quality, and safety standards

• Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Day Shift
• No weekends or holidays

Physical Requirements
