Job Responsibilities

The Certified Medical Assistant II reports to the Outpatient Clinic Manager and works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include supporting patient care activities, assisting with examinations and treatments, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, recording data, and preparing examination rooms.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
• Six months of CMA/RMA experience
• Certification through AMT, AAMA, NHA, or MedCA as CCMA, CMA, or NAHP
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross

Physical and Sensory Requirements

Includes ability to stand, sit, walk, climb stairs, work indoors/outdoors, and perform various physical activities and sensory functions as detailed in the original description.
