Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time position in an ambulatory setting. The role will support physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in Interventional Pain Management and travel to Land O' Lakes and Zephyrhills as needed.

Responsibilities include gathering patient data, preparing patients for examinations, assisting during procedures, documenting treatments in the EMR, and coordinating scheduling for specialty tests.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school (or at least one year of verifiable work experience as CMA) required.

Responsabilités

• Gathers patient data through interviews and observation.
• Assists patients and families with preparation for examination.
• Assists the physician or APP during examination and procedures.
• Documents patient data, treatments, procedures, and patient education according to Orlando Health and department-specific policies.
• Schedules and coordinates specialty testing and physician consultations.
• Maintains infection control standards and safety practices.
• Performs routine treatments and administers approved medication types.
