Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time role in Zephyrhills, with schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, in the Interventional Pain Management department.

The CMA will perform patient care under the physician or APP, gather data, assist during examinations, document in the EMR, and help schedule tests and specialty visits. Strong communication and infection control are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school.
• BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required.
• CMA/CCMA/CMAC/NCMA/NRCMA/NRCAMA or equivalent certification may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to leadership for operational issues.
• Gathers patient data through interviews and observation.
• Assists the physician or APP during examinations and procedures.
• Documents patient data and education in the EMR.
• Supports scheduling and communication for tests and specialty visits.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
