The role emphasizes accurate data collection, assistance during exams and procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized environment while following Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved program.
• Maintains current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification and CMA/CCMA/CMAC/NCMA/NCCT/NAHP/AMT/ARMA/AAH credentials or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Gathers patient data through interviews and observation.
• Assists physicians or APP during examinations and procedures.
• Documents treatments, orders, and patient education in the EMR.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
