Texas Health Resources is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for the Internal Medicine Clinic in Bedford, TX. This full-time, day-shift role supports high-volume patient care and requires CMA certification, high school diploma, and clinical training completion within 90 days.

You will perform EKGs, blood draws, injections, and basic exams, while documenting in the medical record and coordinating tests. Benefits include 401k, PTO, and medical coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification is required.
• 1 year Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training within 90 days of entry.
• ACLS preferred; BCLS required within 90 days of hire.
• NCT training may be required upon hire (preferred).
• Ability to perform EKGs, blood draws and injections.
• Effective communication with staff and patients.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and exam procedures.

Responsabilités

• Deliver care to patients using CMA process.
• Perform general patient care following standards and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Record vital signs and patient information in the medical record.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered.
• Draw blood and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Schedule diagnostic tests and follow up on results.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Escalate non-routine issues to the practice manager or clinician.
• Ensure safety checks and patient privacy protections are followed.
