Qualifications

• Experience: One to three months on the job training and recent medical field experience.
• Certification/Licensure: MA certification or be willing to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care assistance to physicians, nurse practitioners and RNs.
• Perform telephone triage support and manage patient flow in clinic.
• Prepare patients for procedures and enter medical history into EMR.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and discharge patients; handle referrals and prescriptions.
• Order medical supplies and maintain clean exam rooms and stock.
