Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Certification through AMT, AAMA, NHA, NCCT or MedCA as CCMA/CMA/NAHP.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under physician direction.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record data in the medical record.
• Prepare treatment rooms and support outpatient clinic operations.
