Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience.
• Active Medical Assistant certification through AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA is required.
• CPR certification is required or willing to become certified upon hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT experience or 2 years in a medical office is expected.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vital signs, and health history.
• Support physicians during examinations and procedures, including minor office surgeries.
• Assist with immunizations or injections and prescription requests.
• Coordinate charting, labs, and provider orders; handle pharmacy callbacks.
• Conduct onsite labs (EKG, pulmonary function, glucose, urine pregnancy tests).
• Maintain clean, welcoming examination rooms and deliver excellent patient service.
• Travel to assist other local clinics as needed.
