Duly Health and Care in Lombard, IL is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians in examinations, registrations, vital signs, and lab testing. You will assist with immunizations, prescriptions, and charting while delivering friendly, patient-centered care during 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, MA training, and relevant certifications; phlebotomy may be required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or health sciences coursework is required.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA) or willingness to obtain certification is required.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior MA/CMA/CNA/EMT experience or 2 years’ experience in a medical office assisting with patient care.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vitals, and health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor procedures, dressings, and first aid.
• Assist with immunizations or injections when certified.
• Handle prescriptions, pharmacy callbacks, and provider orders; update charting.
• Conduct onsite lab tests including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming exam rooms and deliver excellent patient service.
• Travel to assist other local clinics as needed.

CPR certification
