Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support to providers, patients, and staff to expedite patient flow and care.
• Greet and register patients, collect insurance information and pre-certification when applicable.
• Discharge patients and maintain accurate financial data and daily records.
• Record vital signs and assist with procedures, including laceration repair and minor surgeries.
• Schedule appointments, document orders, and assist with billing and test results.
• Mentor CMA staff and participate in unit quality improvement activities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional behavior at all times.
