Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accompany patients to exam rooms and prepare them for exams.
• Perform and document vital signs.
• Assist with procedures and medications with physician authorization.
• Perform EKGs and CPR as needed.
• Draw blood and prepare specimens.
• Provide patient education on office policies, medications, and disease management.
• Stock exam rooms, clean rooms, and dispose of biohazard waste according to OSHA standards.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance in all duties.
