UNC Health’s Primary Care at Goldsboro is seeking a Medical Assistant II, Certified to provide routine clinical and administrative support in an outpatient clinic setting. You will work under clinician supervision to assist with patient care tasks, data collection, and timely follow-up instructions.

The role requires valid Medical Assistant certification and related experience; duties include preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, collecting specimens, and coordinating patient

Formación

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program is strongly preferred but not required.
• Certification required by one of the listed national bodies (AAMA/AMT/NCMA/NRCMA/NCCT).
• Experience in outpatient clinic settings is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Performs rooming and/or intake, including vital signs and data collection.
• Collects patient and family medical and social history.
• Reviews current medications and allergies; confirms pharmacy.
• Assists providers during exams and procedures.
• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens.
• Administers medications under provider direction; supports patient education.
