Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to provide clinical responsibilities and clerical support at the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Memphis, TN. You will be the initial point of patient contact and assist with registration and scheduling as needed.

The role requires assisting providers, collecting histories and vital data, performing phlebotomy, preparing rooms, and ensuring smooth patient flow through the clinic.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Current CPR certification required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year of medical assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and other providers with patient examination and procedures.
• Record patient medical history, vital statistics and pertinent information; monitor changes and test results.
• Collect, prepare and transport specimens; perform phlebotomy as requested or required by provider.
• Prepare examination rooms, keep them stocked and maintain instruments and sterilization.
