Regional One Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the East Multi-Specialty Clinic in Memphis, TN. This full-time role supports physicians with clinical tasks, patient preparation, lab specimen handling, and basic diagnostics to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key duties include assisting with examinations, recording medical history and vitals, performing phlebotomy, preparing rooms, and managing front desk tasks as required.

Formación

• Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Current national certification as CMA, RMA, CCMA, CCMA variants, or NCCT/NAHP/MedCA equivalents is required upon hire.
• Current CPR certification is required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year of CMA experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, including instrument handling and injections.
• Record and identify patient history, vital signs, medications and chief complaints.
• Collect, prepare and transport specimens; perform phlebotomy and basic lab tests as needed.
• Prepare treatment rooms and stock supplies; maintain cleanliness and sterilization.
• Operate EKG and other equipment for routine diagnostic testing.
• Prepare patients for visits and assist with scheduling and instructions.
• Handle front desk tasks, registration, check-out, and data entry when needed.
