Certified Medical Assistant II - Family Medicine of Edmond
OUHP Fountain Lake Clinic
The Certified Medical Assistant II works alongside Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to provide direct patient care according to state and federal guidelines. This position plays an important role in the ambulatory setting by performing clinical and administrative duties and helping patients feel at ease and understand provider instructions.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Patient Care as a Medical Assistant or similar patient care role preferred.
License/Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire. Additionally, one of the following certifications are required upon hire:
