Job summary

UCF Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for our Orlando campuses. Join a team dedicated to excellent patient care in a fast-paced, supportive setting.

You will greet patients, take vital signs, collect specimens, manage forms, and document results under physician supervision, with hours Monday to Friday 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified Medical Assistant; current
• Experience: 0+ years of relevant experience
• Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
• Tech-savvy: Familiarity with eCW systems and basic computer skills
• Attitude: Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Greeting and preparing patients for exams
• Taking vital signs and medical histories
• Collects and prepares laboratory specimens, performs point-of-care testing in office
• Ensures proper forms are signed and dated, such as consent to treat, ABN forms, medical releases, and HIPAA forms
• Documented results communicated to the patient after physician has reviewed the results, updates medical records

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm No Weekends
