Job summary

Center for Primary Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support front and clinical operations at our Augusta, GA location. You will greet patients, schedule visits, maintain accurate records, and assist providers during examinations and procedures.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, MA certification, and at least one year of medical office experience. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, patient communication, and HIPAA compliance is required; BLS may be

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or GED required.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered MA, Certified MA, or current LPN; Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of Medical Office experience.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records, typing, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers adequately and accurately with exams and procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment cleaned, stocked, and in working condition.
• Accurately administer medications and injections per provider orders.
• Document information in the Electronic Medical Record System.
• Draw blood, label specimens, and complete orders per guidelines.
