Job summary

Pandya Medical Center - Braselton, GA is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support Providers in a busy clinic. You will perform clinical procedures, assist during exams, take vitals, and ensure accurate charting in the EMR.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, CMA/RMA certification, BLS, and at least one year of medical office experience. We offer comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with match, PTO, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a medical office.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures under supervision of the Provider.
• Assist Providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, conduct intake interviews, and document vitals in the medical record.
• Provide patient education and instructions as directed by the Provider.
• Review and file reports, lab results, and documentation in the patient’s medical record prior to appointments.
• Maintain exam rooms with supplies and ensure proper sterilization.
• Handle incoming calls, messages, and communications within scope of practice.
• Triage and route messages to Providers in a timely manner.
• Maintain clinical logs and perform routine safety checks.
• Comply with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Clinical Lead or Office Manager.
