Responsibilities include taking vital signs, preparing rooms, managing patient intake, scheduling referrals, and ensuring accurate documentation while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency in medical record systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, wound care, suture removal, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, urine tests, EKGs, and splints.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties, including reporting test results, phone triage, and documenting medical information as directed.
• Maintains daily logs and documentation; supports pre-registering patients, scheduling appointments, and referrals.
• Maintains organized workload and ensures courteous, efficient service to providers, patients, and visitors.
