This role supports clinical and administrative tasks, including preparing exam rooms, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and coordinating patient intake to ensure smooth daily clinic operations.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency in medical record systems and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
• Understanding of medical terminology and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical procedures: vital signs, wound care, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs, splints.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Perform patient intake duties: report test results, triage calls, document medical information.
• Maintain daily logs and documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and verify insurance eligibility; manage clinic communications.
