Job summary

Longview Clinic Operations LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical and administrative functions under supervision. The CMA will assist with procedures, manage patient intake, maintain exam rooms, and help ensure efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent patient service.

Ideal candidates have 0-1 years of experience in a medical setting or externship, along with CMA certification (AAMA) or NCMA, and BLS.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or externship required.
• CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT certification preferred.
• BCLS certification required by AHA/ARC/ASHI.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical procedures and taking vital signs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for visits and procedures.
• Manage patient intake, document medical information.
• Review daily logs and maintain documentation.
• Handle administrative duties like pre-registering patients and scheduling.
• Coordinate referrals and verify insurance eligibility.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Educate patients on medications and health topics.
