La Clinica is seeking a certified Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered team in Medford, OR. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive wage range and opportunities to support diverse patients.

Responsibilities include administrative and clinical duties, electronic health record updates, patient scheduling, and assisting providers during exams. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
• BLS certification required by AHA
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
• Proficiency in basic computer software applications
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency in administrative and clinical duties
• Update patient records accurately using electronic health records
• Assist patients with scheduling and follow-up appointments
• Provide telephone support and route calls appropriately
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
• Assist providers during exams and procedures
• Administer vaccines, EKGs, and lab tests as ordered
• Provide patient education as instructed by providers
• Maintain patient and employee information confidentiality per HIPAA
