Job summary

La Clinica Del Valle in Medford, OR, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Advanced) to join Birch Grove Health Center. This full-time, hourly role supports clinical and administrative duties, delivering patient care and assisting with exams, vaccines, EKGs, and lab testing.

The ideal candidate holds CCMA and BLS, can type 40 WPM, and is proficient with basic computer software; EPIC experience is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is encouraged but not required.

Qualifications

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency in administrative and clinical duties.
• Update patient records accurately using electronic health records.
• Support patients in scheduling and follow-up of medical appointments.
• Provide telephone support and route calls appropriately.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Administer vaccines, EKGs, and laboratory testing as ordered.
• Provide patient education as instructed by providers.
• Maintain patient and employee information confidentially following HIPAA policies.
