Job summary

Cullman Internal Medicine (CIM) seeks two experienced Medical Assistants to join our practice of 10 Doctors and 13 Nurse Practitioners. This role combines clinical support with clerical duties and involves mostly phone interactions; you may need to assist across areas as needed.

Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with 7:45 AM start and occasional overtime. Candidates must have CCMA or CMA(AAMA)/LPN/RN and at least two years of clinical experience, strong communication, and

Qualifications

• Two years clinical experience required.
• Experience returning patient calls, managing refills, prior authorizations, scheduling tests and referrals.
• Assist with flu injections during flu season.
• Collaborate with all office personnel as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines and OSHA requirements.
