Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Minimum of one year clinic experience in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance.
• Schedule appointments and answer telephone.
• Initiate patient care assessments and gather vital signs.
• Prepare patient and exam room for procedures and collect specimens.
• Provide patient education and support to assist physician, patient and family.
• Return patient phone calls.
• Must work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Collaborate with a clinical team and use EMR systems.
