Job summary

Ascension in Menasha, WI seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in the Float Pool. You will prepare exam rooms, interview patients, take vital signs, and document records to aid accurate assessments.

You will assist physicians and nurses with treatments and procedures, handle administrative duties, and coordinate inventory to keep the clinic safe and organized. This role requires appropriate MA licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs and document care records to support accurate clinical assessments.
• Assist physicians and registered nurses with ordered treatments and clinical procedures to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Manage administrative tasks including phone inquiries, record keeping and filing to maintain efficient clinic workflow.
• Coordinate inventory ordering and supply stocking to maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.
