Job summary

Ascension Health in Menasha, WI is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical care in the Float Pool. You will prepare examination rooms, interview patients, take vitals and document care records to assist accurate assessments, and assist physicians and nurses with treatments and procedures.

The role includes handling administrative tasks, coordinating inventory and supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe clinic environment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credential obtained prior to hire date or transfer date.
• One of the MA credentials: AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs and document care records.
• Assist physicians and registered nurses with treatments and procedures.
• Manage administrative tasks including phone inquiries, record keeping and filing.
• Coordinate inventory ordering and supply stocking.

Education

BLS Provider (within 1 month)

Medical Assistant credentialed

Credential required: AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA
