Live Well Homecare is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in outpatient settings under supervision. Provides direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient setting, working under the supervision of providers to ensure patient safety and quality care. Responsibilities include preparing patients, collecting vital signs, performing technical procedures such as EKGs and wound dressings, assisting during minor surgical procedures, and supporting laboratory specimen collection and processing. Additionally, handles administrative tasks like scheduling, documentation, billing inquiries, and patient communication to facilitate efficient clinic operations.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential required, certified by recognized associations such as NHA, AMT, AAMA, etc. Preferred candidates will have completed an accredited medical assistant program. Strong clinical skills, proficiency with electronic medical records, excellent communication, organization, and ability to work collaboratively are essential.
Full-time position with occasional weekend work and required travel.
