Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) in Lancaster, CA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (PRN) to support decentralized, patient-centered care. You will interview patients, measure vitals, prepare rooms, and document in the medical record under a physician's direction. Basic computer skills and strong communication are required.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited medical assisting program; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and records vital signs.
• Prepares examination rooms and assists physicians.
• Maintains accurate entries in medical records.
• Communicates effectively in writing and speech.
