Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center, located in Langhorne, PA, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient care in a busy ambulatory setting. The role includes taking vital signs, preparing labs, and assisting with a range of procedures under physician guidance.

Ideal candidates have CMA certification and, preferably, 1+ year of office-based experience. The position offers full-time hours with a patient-focused mission and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification from recognized organizations (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA, NHA, NAHP, or NPCE).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician's office (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Show patients to exam room, interview patients, measure vital signs, and document in EHR.
• Assess patient symptoms and physiological status and record data in the medical record.
• Take labs, prepare samples for pickup, and communicate with departments per protocols.
• Set up exam rooms, assist with procedures including gynecological exams, minor surgeries, and biopsies.
• Assist with front office operations: reception, medical records, scheduling and billing as needed.
