Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support ambulatory care teams at St. Mary Medical Center (Feasterville, Levittown, Yardley, Philadelphia area). Mon-Fri, 7:30am-6:00pm shifts with four 10-hour days.

The CMA will assist physicians, perform lab work, manage patient prep, document in EHR, and support front desk and billing tasks as needed. Prior MA certification and high school diploma required; 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• AAMA/AMT/NCCT/AMCA/NHA/NAHP/NPCE CMA certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year medical assistant experience in a physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Show patients to exam room, interview patients, measure vital signs and document in EHR.
• Assess patient symptoms and physical condition and record data.
• Take labs, prep for pickup and document in EHR; coordinate with departments for labs.
• Set up exam room, assist with procedures and examinations per physician preference.
• Assist front desk tasks: reception, records, scheduling and billing as needed.
