Job summary

Immediate Care Walk-In Management LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Warren, NJ site. You will interview, triage, measure vital signs, document charts, and assist Providers in exam rooms, while maintaining clean, stocked spaces and patient flow.

You must be able to work evenings and weekends, cross-train for registration, and pursue ongoing certification. Competitive benefits and a supportive team environment are offered at this location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college preferred.
• Completed medical assistant program.
• Active medical assistant certification.
• Active BLS certification through an AHA program.
• Ability to maintain patient flow with organized systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service and phone Etiquette.
• Able to work in a fast-paced public environment.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vitals.
• Assist providers in exam rooms and give patient instructions.
• Perform blood draws and EKGs.
• Keep exam rooms stocked with supplies and maintain instruments.
• Handle patient/provider/pharmacy calls and provide feedback.
• Maintain logs and checks (refrigerator temps, meds, oxygen, etc.).
• Cross-train for patient registration when needed.
• Available to work evenings and weekends; travel to other sites; travel in inclement weather.
• Maintain all required certifications for the role.
• All other duties as assigned by Practice Operations Manager.
