Job summary

Rosewood Family Health at Lents in Portland, OR seeks a Certified Medical Assistant. The role is 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) working in a clinic setting with Epic EMR.

The position offers a bilingual pay premium and a comprehensive benefits package including 100% employer-paid health insurance and a 403(b) retirement plan. In this role you will maintain patient records, prepare for visits, support the provider team, and assist with exams while ensuring patient education and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent training.
• Current CMA certification or eligible to take certification within 90 days of hire.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records and immunization histories.
• Prepare for patient visits and coordinate labs, referrals, and reports.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize exam rooms and equipment.
• Educate patients on medications and post-visit care.
