Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and Medical Assistant Certification. Prior MA experience is preferred. The role emphasizes excellent patient service, strong communication, and computer skills within a busy ambulatory care setting.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred previous medical assistant experience in a health setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for the providers by obtaining and documenting medical history, vital signs, growth parameters, and reason for visit.
• Assist with examination and treatments.
• Administer injections.
• Perform visual and auditory examinations.
• Perform diagnostic laboratory procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and laboratory tests.
• Maintain documentation related to patient care.
• Exhibit teamwork and support co-workers.
