AdventHealth is seeking a team-oriented professional in Palm Coast, FL, to travel as needed, maintain clinical competencies, and support busy clinic operations. The role emphasizes patient care, documentation, and adherence to policies to ensure safety and quality of service.

The position requires CPR/medical assistant certification and at least 1 year of related experience, with opportunities for growth, training, and career development within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology required.
• Knowledge of chronic disease management required.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources required.
• Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems required.
• Ability to function in stressful, fast-paced environments and apply stress management techniques required.
• Ability to resolve issues and work independently within the scope of certification required.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, diplomacy and professional demeanor required.
• Ability to read, write and type legibly, and communicate in English effectively required.
• Experience with computers required.

Responsabilités

• Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
• Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintains education requirements and demonstrates competency through annual clinical assessments.
• Prepares patients and equipment for treatment; initiates testing and documents results.
• Maintains OSHA compliance and safety processes/policies.
• Provides holistic patient care during visits, including intake, results, and care gaps.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and staff information.
• Assists patients, visitors, and coworkers to support teamwork.
• Performs clinical intake including screenings, history, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
• Assists with minor procedures and documents results.
• Educates patients about tests, medications and diet with clear instructions.
• Monitors inventory and ensures equipment/supplies availability.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
